If you’re familiar with the turf war between tennis and pickleball, you’ll understand why this next project was necessary. To keep the peace with our neighbors on the adjacent tennis courts we decided that it was time to install a screen to deflect errant balls back onto our side. The size of the opening was so specific that I decided to weave my own screen using a roll of nylon webbing.
The criteria:
- Perforated to allow wind to pass through
- Heavy enough to retain it’s shape
- Removable on one end to allow passage
- Non-permanent points of attachment
